Easter on St. Simons Island

Thursday, February 25th, 2021

The Island weather this week has made us realize just how quickly Spring (and Easter) are approaching! With highs in the upper 70s this week, we thought we should go ahead and get you excited about our plans for Easter Weekend 2021.

The Resort will be offering our traditional Easter Buffet for the family to enjoy. From Beef Wellington and Boursin Stuffed Chicken Breast to Omelet Stations and more, see all of the menu details here. Reservations are required. To make yours, call 912-268-5967 or add the option to your room reservation at the time of booking.

We’ve also created the sweetest Easter Baskets for the holiday weekend. With the most festive goodies from St. Simons Sweets (located in the Pier Village) and the cutest little bunnies from Melissa + Doug, we’re making it easy to spoil everyone this year!

Basket details: (Pictured below) The baskets are available for stays April 1 – 4 and will be $35 each. They can be added to your reservation at the time of booking. If you’ve already reserved your room, give us a call at 800-342-0212, 912-638-3631, or email us at reservations@kingandprince.com and we can get it added to your room. Multiple baskets can be ordered per room, quantities are limited so they’re first-come, first-served.

Basket treats include the following:

      • Little Chick Marshmallow on a stick
      • Bunny Marshmallow on a stick
      • Bunny face truffle
      • Whimsy Chick Crispy Treat on a stick
      • Bunny Bark
      • 4″ Baby Bunny Hops from Melissa + Doug

Pssst, if you’re interested in live music, we’ll be having Nashville recording artist, Jesse Rice, back for a sunset session at our Atlantic Court on Saturday, April 3.

Looking for a variety of activities to enjoy during your visit? Exploring the Lighthouse for a bird’s eye view is always fun! Find lots of activity ideas here.

If you have more questions or would like to learn more about our resort, visit us online here or call 800-342-0212.

Easter 2020 in the Golden Isles

Monday, April 6th, 2020

Celebrations are obviously looking very different this year. While we’re still under a shelter in place order, there are still a few ways you can get festive while supporting the local community.

In addition to nightly takeout, some restaurants are offering Easter Dinner to-go. Halyard’sCertified Burgers, A Moveable Feast and Bistro Eleven88  are all offering meals but be sure to reserve ahead of time.

Local artists like Ed Hose are helping us keep busy by offering free print outs to color. Thank you, Ed! ((Fun fact, you may recognize her work from our sold out kid’s book, The Princess and the Crab.))

Confetti Couture Events is even offering a local fundraiser called Egg Your Yard. With limited spots left, if you live locally, you can sign up to participate.

Not only will your very own Easter egg hunt be delivered, you can also help support the Kid’s Port Museum, The Firebox Initiative (donating to local F&B workers) or Safe Harbor Children’s Center.

If you’re in need of a few Easter treats, be sure to check out the cuties from St. Simons Sweets that are available for delivery.

Have any suggestions that we may have missed? Feel free to let us know!
