After a ceremony on the oceanfront lawn, this couple partied in the Delegal Room. We are absolutely obsessing over their unique, and colorful, ceremony exit and can’t get over their escape up the stairs after. High five for originality + exit surprises!

Kasey and Matt’s church wedding on St. Simons Island was followed by an oceanfront reception with perfect Spring weather. Something definitely noteworthy is the couple’s choice of uplighting that masterfully enhances the historic stained glass of the Delegal Room. Another takeaway is the couple’s attention to the guests’ experience, they opted for games on the lawn that would entertain all ages and added fun personal touches such as a doughnut tower. Check out some of the fantastic details from their #akozakmoment. (Photos courtesy of Clayton Brannon Photography.)

Prior to the reception, Cocktail Hour was held in the Retreat Room with elaborate fruit and cheese displays featuring local products and butler-passed hors d’oeuvres.
The buffet reception in the Delegal Ballroom featured the Taste of Georgia menu enhanced with a carving station – our most popular southern buffet. Also, Kasey & Matt’s wedding boasted craft beers, bourbon bars and a champagne toast with fun silver poppers that provided a festive and unique exit.
After the reception, guests had the opportunity to keep the party going and they continued the celebration in ECHO’s Bar and Lounge area after the bride and groom retreated to our romantic governor’s suite following their night of celebration.

Dennis & Katie’s special day in May was full of sunshine & smiles! Check out some of the gorgeous pics that Brooke Roberts Photography was able to snap.
Leigh and Jason were married at The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort in an oceanfront ceremony on the lawn, followed by cocktail hour inside, and a reception in the Lanier Ballroom. In addition to fun party favors, such as sunglasses and light up sticks, they chose to also have cotton candy and the quintessential photo booth. To set their style apart, they accented their ceremony and reception with shades of green- notice the light ombre effect at the bottom of her dress, the flowers on the cake, and the uplighting of the ballroom.
Kirsten and Josh were married on the oceanfront lawn this September in a beautiful and intimate ceremony before having their reception in our Retreat Room overlooking the ocean. This couple amazed with their ability to have a beautiful and affordable wedding. Not only did they choose to marry on a Thursday, but they also took to Pinterest and personalized most of their touches. Look at the details below and notice how well their decorations complement each other, the venue, and the overall style of the wedding. Brooke Roberts Photography was here to catch all of these handcrafted details along with the beautiful memories that prove you can have a knockout wedding without blowing the budget.
