“From start to finish, they were there to help!” The King and Prince was really there every step of the way to make sure that my day went as I wanted. It is a beautiful location and their priced fairly. I loved the flexibility and kindness of the staff. They helped me enjoy the wedding of my dreams. -Clara S.

“Perfection.” I am so happy we chose the King & Price, our wedding coordinator Scarlett was phenomenal, the place was beyond amazing and the cost was fair. Great value and perfect place. -Franny

“Wedding of my dreams!” The King and Prince Beach Resort is the perfect location for a fairytale wedding! The staff is amazing and will make your wildest dreams come true! I am from Portland, OR, so obviously, this was a destination wedding. The staff made it so simple to plan, and set up tastings and tours the one weekend I had available without any hesitation. The wedding weekend was perfect! I came in on a Thursday and only had to have one small 15 minute meeting to square away the final details! I am so blessed to have had the perfect wedding! If you want the perfect beach wedding, I fully recommend The King and Prince Beach Resort!  -Janell G

Princess and the crab

Commissioned by the Resort’s owners for their children, “The Princess and the Crab” is a wonderful memento for your family and friends.

A delightfully inspired re-imagining of the beloved princess-and-the-frog fable (with a lovable, wise crab as the co-star), the book is wonderful, whimsical and wise. While the tale is fun, author Grace Gore Sturdivant’s use of historical island sites in the unfolding story brings learning to the book’s magic and meaning. Adding to the appeal are its delightful illustrations by ED Hose of St. Simons Island.

This children’s book includes 48 pages of delight, weaving The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort, our coast, and St. Simons Island’s history into the narrative.

Place your order today and you will receive an email upon the books arrival at the resort and prior to shipping to you. The book is $20 per copy and can be purchased by visiting the resort’s online gift shop.

2015 Wedding Dress Trend: Low Cut Backs

Wednesday, May 13th, 2015

This year, low cut backs are making a comeback on wedding dresses. While this trend may not be for the faint of heart, we know that those who do wear one of these dresses will be absolutely stunning on their wedding day.

This swan inspired body by designer Galia Lahav has a dramatic silhouette with layers of tulle. On the back, French lace dotted with pearls completes the delicate and gorgeous look.

This corded lace fit to flare gown by Kenneth Pool offers a unique but equally beautiful look.

Exquisite beaded lace adorns the bodice of this romantic dress by Maggie Sottero. A Swarovski Crystal neckline and a double keyhole back complete this beautiful dress.

The illusion back neckline for “Millie” by Nicole Miller is intricately beaded in a layered necklace style look. Thin beading around the waistline ties the look together for a romantic look.
