Coastfest: Saturday, October 4th from 10am to 4:45pm- This annual event is held at the Georgia DNR coastal regional headquarters in Brunswick, GA. Bring the whole family for a day of outdoor fun! There will be over 70 environmental and educational exhibits about sea turtles, coastal ecology, sharks, shrimp and much more!
St. Simons Island Antique Show: Saturday & Sunday, October 4th & 5th from 9am to 5pm- Antique dealers from across the Southeast will be under the oaks in Postell Park by the Pier. Admission and parking are free!
Glynn Art in the Park Fall Festival: Saturday & Sunday, October 11th & 12th- Artists from across the southeast will be selling their art at Postell Park on St. Simons Island for this festival. There will be jewelry, photography, stoneware, children’s toys and much more! Bring the family for a beautiful fall day under the oaks. This event is free.
Rhythm on the River featuring Michael Hulett: Sunday, October 12th- Enjoy live music at Mary Ross Waterfront Park featuring local musician Michael Hulett in Brunswick from 6-8pm. Bring the kids and pack a picnic dinner. Admission is $10 per adult, 15 & under free.
5th Annual St. Simons Island SUP Challenge: Friday and Saturday, October 17th & 18th- The event features a 3 mile short course, an 8 mile elite race, relay race 13 and under race and even a race with a dog on your board! The 15th Annual Brunswick Rockin’ Stewbilee: Saturday, October 18th- Celebrate (and eat) delicious Brunswick Stew! There will be a cooking competition, pooch parade, 5k race, live entertainment and events just for the kids!
The 2014 McGladrey Classic: October 20th-26th at the Sea Island Golf Club- This annual PGA tour is hosted by the Davis Love Foundation and benefits many local charities.
