My mother was staying at the King & Prince with her parents the night of the fire in 1935. Thinking the hotel would be gone forever, my mother, a teenager, took a memento. A relish dish that I have, love to use and tell the story. My grandfather, a moving picture buff that long ago, made movies of the fire.
